The effects of the Black Friday are still present in the casinos

Different decisions related to the Black Friday event are still being taken by casinos and software providers.

There are 4 months since the tragic Black Friday took place, when the government forced down the closure of the major poker rooms. The effects haven’t stopped yet, every week a major online casino or a software provider is exiting the US market.

One of the latest news to demonstrate this is Rival Gaming’s communication that all its licensed online casinos are no longer able to accept US players from the 7th of August. The news was confirmed by the affiliate program AffiliateWide. Still, the existing US players will still be available to make deposits.

Because AffiliateWide has a large clients database in US that it wants to develop, it has decided to switch brands, this way shifting to Top Game, which will continue to operate in US gambling market. The involved casinos are Box24 Casino, Spartan Slots and Diamond Casino.

The migration to Top Game is expected to be finalized on August 15th. The affiliates will be able to access Rival stats on AffiliateWide website, before the switchover. After that, the players will be able to wager on Top Game software and the affiliates will log on to Top Game Affiliate system and also to download new marketing material and tracking codes. Players who still want to wager on Rival Gaming software, will have to look for another Rival Gaming casino.

There is another announcement made this week, in relation to Black Friday. Realtime Gaming online casino Intertops has decided to change his domain extension from .com to .eu, motivating that this change is meant to increase the level of accessibility, reliability and service quality. The true reason behind this is that the American authorities will find it harder to act against .eu domains, than .com domains.

As confirmation, Bodog casino has made the same thing last month.
